Many traditional market segmentation models and user profiling models are based solely on sociodemographics. Profiles in the patient profiling project were not derived from sociodemographics, but rather patients’ health experiences, coping behaviour, and health communication preferences. Still we do include the sociodemographic of each profile here to provide you with insight in the typical age range, education, occupation, sex, support system and internet usage seen in each profile.
